New to Practice Workshop Series beginning in September 2026

New Substance-Use Stabilization Program in Squamish to Support Recovery
This project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as part of the substance-use bed-based continuum of care. Turning Point Recovery Society will operate the site, providing clients with a safe, inclusive environment with embedded health-care supports. PCN Consultation Required Prior to Workload Funding Applications
The Ministry of Health has advised that Primary Care Networks (PCNs) should be consulted before physicians submit a 2026/27 Physician Workload Funding (WLF) application. This consultation is intended to determine whether the identified service need may be addressed through an existing or additional PCN Most Responsible Provider (MRP) resource before pursuing a Workload Funding request. New CT Scanner at Squamish General Hospital
