The Physician Health Program is pleased to announce the New to Practice group starting in September 2026. This project is a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as part of the substance-use bed-based continuum of care. Turning Point Recovery Society will operate the site, providing clients with a safe, inclusive environment with embedded health-care supports. The Ministry of Health has advised that Primary Care Networks (PCNs) should be consulted before physicians submit a 2026/27 Physician Workload Funding (WLF) application. This consultation is intended to determine whether the identified service need may be addressed through an existing or additional PCN Most Responsible Provider (MRP) resource before pursuing a Workload Funding request.
