Division Initiatives
The Division supports two local groups of family physicians who provide on-call coverage as the dedicated Most Responsible Physicians (MRPs) across two facilities. Funded through the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC), these on-call groups enhance after-hours coverage, distribute workload more equitably, and reduce the burden on individual physicians while ensuring consistent coverage and continuity of care.

Long-Term Care Initiative
The Long-Term Care (LTCI) on-call group supports coordinated, high-quality care for residents at Hilltop House, Sea to Sky’s long-term care facility.

In-Patient Care
The In-Patient Care (IPC) on-call group provides coverage for both assigned and unassigned patients at Squamish General Hospital.
Maternity Care
We are in conversations with FPSC around support for maternity services.
