These tools were created to address the growing need for de-escalation support in community clinics. Informed by input from medical office staff (MOS) and physicians across British Columbia, they aim to promote safer, more confident staff-patient interactions in community practice settings. Benefits include a safer environment, improved staff well-being and confidence, stronger patient relationships, fewer complaints, greater clinic efficiency, and better staff retention. |
