Vail Resorts offers several Adaptive Pass Products. Vail Resorts determines eligibility for these products by following the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The program has been receiving an increase in Adaptive Pass submissions, specifically for Whistler, of documentation for ADHD or dyslexia, which, under the ADA guidelines, would only qualify if it were severe enough to be a permanent disability. Mild or manageable ADHD or dyslexia does not qualify as a permanent disability as defined by the ADA.

The Vail Adaptive Program has asked for primary care providers to qualify ADHD or Dyslexia, or Anxiety notes; mild/manageable or requires specific accommodations for skiing.
