Pemberton Health Centre Laboratory will be launching STI Screening

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Public Health and the Pemberton Health Centre Laboratory will be launching a patient-initiated sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing pilot providing screening for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia.

This initiative is part of VCH’s action plan in response to the current syphilis outbreak in BC.

Starting last month in November, and will be evaluated after a period of 6 – 12 months.
