Workshop on Executive Skills for a Sustainable Life in Medicine

Aug 14
1 min read

Join this practical six-session series for physicians and medical learners at any stage of training or practice, presented by the Physician Health Program through Doctors of BC. The series focuses on strengthening the executive function skills that support attention, focus, prioritization, time management, and follow-through—skills that are essential to both clinical work and life.

Each 90-minute session offers practical tools you can test during the week, with the goal of helping you feel calmer, less depleted, and more intentional about where you direct your time and energy.

Facilitator: Dr. Elisabeth Baerg Hall, MD, CCFP, FRCPC, psychiatrist and Clinical Professor at UBC, specializing in executive function enhancement and adult ADHD in physicians.

Format:

  • Six 90-minute online sessions

  • Small, confidential groups (cameras on when possible)

  • Sessions are stand-alone, but attending all six is encouraged

  • Open to medical learners and physicians at any stage

  • No cost to attend

  • Limited to 25–30 participants per workshop

Registration is required.
