Welcoming our New Division Board Members!

At the November Annual General Meeting, we were pleased to welcome two new Board members elected by our Membership:

Dr. Alison Ukrainec

• Graduated the University of Manchester - was a ‘resident representative’ for the local medical committee during final year of residency.​​​

• Currently practicing at Squamish Terra Nova ​​​

• Started supervising for St Paul’s IMG’s this year, and frequently speaking to doctors looking to move from the UK or work in Squamish/BC.

• Interest in optimizing local physician well-being, growing leadership skills, and continuing to learn about our local and provincial care system.

Dr. Stephanie Warwick

• Experience as a UK doctor, and currently as a GP for nearly two years in Whistler.​​​

• Completed a MSc in public health and health services research in 2022 with a focus on health inequalities and the wider social determinants of health.​​​

• Hopes to support and encourage holistic and collaborative team-based patient care through mindfulness in medical practice and improving physician well-being.​​​

• Looking forward to learning and growing as a practitioner and a leader
