Last week, the Sea to Sky Division of Family Practice held its Annual General Meeting in the beautiful Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center.  We reviewed the 2024/2025 Financial Report with Renee Martin virtually.  We said goodbye to two long-standing board members, Dr. Larry Klein and Dr. Danielle Patterson.  We also got the privilege to welcome two new board members, Dr. Alison Ukrainec and Dr. Stephanie Warwick.

We finished the night with a provider wellness and leadership session hosted by Adam King, CEO and Co-Founder of BeThink. There were discussions on how provider connectivity can help with burnout, and providers can take ownership of their well-being with supports and resources available from the Division of Family Practice. There was a lot of energy and passion in the room, creating engaging and inspiring conversations. We concluded the session with an exercise on how providers can engage with their peers and the Division to optimize their practices and improve their well-being.

The Division extends its heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to outgoing Board Members Dr. Larry Klein and Dr. Danielle Patterson. Your leadership, passion, and commitment have shaped our Division in countless ways, and your impact will be felt for years to come. Thank you for giving your time, wisdom, and heart.
