We are still seeking a primary care provider from Whistler to participate in a Working Group that will support the development of a shared model of care between primary care providers and pediatricians. Initially developed on the North Shore and now expanded to include Sea to Sky, the project aims to reduce patient wait times while supporting discharge to primary care through a clear, collaborative follow-up plan between pediatrics and primary care providers. As part of the phased transition to HPV primary screening across BC, effective May 2026, provider-collected LBC samples for patients aged 40 and older will be triaged to HPV primary screening. In January 2027, provider-collected LBC samples for patients aged 25 and older will be triaged to HPV primary screening.
